Norris Lake Quilting Bee
A new group has emerged consisting of those who have the love of quilting. There were experts among us who were willing to teach the rookies.
Our first meeting was held at Cyndi Herrman’s house. Our first project is a table runner to be made from fabric purchased from Cyndi’s “stash”. We enjoyed our bag lunches on the deck with Cyndi serving brownies and strawberry sorbet for dessert.
It was decided to meet on the second Thursday of each month, the exception being the next meeting in May which will be the third Thursday (May 15) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with everyone bringing her own bag lunch and beverage.
